Prayer for the Mercy of the Father#
Most merciful God, Father in heaven, relying on Your infinite goodness and the merits of Christ’s sacrifice, I humbly confess my sins and acknowledge Your justice. Have mercy on me, a sinner, and grant me the gift of contrition and sorrow for my transgressions. May Your divine mercy cleanse me from all stain of sin and restore me to Your friendship. Amen.
Prayer for the Forgiveness of the Son#
Lord Jesus Christ, You are the true Light that shines in the darkness of my soul. I come before You, weighed down by the burden of my sins, and beg for Your forgiveness. May Your precious blood wash away my guilt and restore me to the innocence of Your grace. Grant me the gift of pardon and reconciliation, that I may begin anew, freed from the chains of sin. Amen.
Prayer for Purification by the Holy Spirit#
Holy Spirit, divine Paraclete, guide me in my confession to fully and completely confess my sins, that you guided me to during my examination of conscience . Purify my heart, that I may truly repent and amend my ways. May Your gentle breeze blow away the dust of my imperfections, and may I emerge from this sacramental encounter renewed and strengthened in my faith. Amen.
